Also, do they or do they not check pria prior to completion of phase II? I’m reading they don’t until phase II is complete but wouldn’t make sense imo.
Not to worry you , just answering your question , but I personally know someone that was in Phase II close to two months and got a TBNT . Don't assume anything, until you get the Phase II completion email . I believe they run your PRIA stuff after phase II is complete.

Disagree. How would they know if you disclosed all training failures without PRIA?

Phase 2 is a culmination of everything and the last thing is getting the green light from the PHC. If this is a Yes. Then you would get a Phase 2 complete and now all you are waiting on is a class.

You can disagree if you want , that's fine . I got multiple emails stating that PRIA woud be completed after Phase II . My class date email clearly says "this is a conditional offer of employment contingent on sucessfully passing a criminal history check and a review of your PRIA . "

Quiet Storm is correct. Things have changed over the last 2 years. The emails that they send to people in Phase 2 are different then the emails I got in early 2017. The reason for this i believe is because of all the people in the pool for the long periods of time through Phase 2 and then waiting for a class that would no show or withdraw because of getting hired by other companies and leaving JB to wonder why? Well when it takes 6 months from interview to class date you have a huge risk at losing candidates to other places, so I believe this move is to get people into classes faster.

I have a question about the GIS online info form. At completion it states that one must click a link to take you to a separate form. When I click this link it takes me to hire rights website. Did anyone else have that same issue?

Pretty much everyone. Ignore it. I believe Jblue sent the form in an email giving instruction on what info you need to send GIS (proof of employment for the last 5 yrs, W2s, transcript etc)

When I started class a few months ago, the PRIA records from my regional hadn't come through yet when I began class (I think they legally have 30 days from when they get the PRIA request from JB). I was surprised too, as I thought this was what Phase II was for (background checks), but it is in fact a "conditional" job offer and apparently normal to begin class these days at JB without all the PRIA info. Ideally JB would like for all info to be received when they give the CJO but it's not always practical.

So with that said, what does GIS look for during Phase II? The things I know of are:

Employment verification
Education verification
National Driver's Registry
and when I had called them they said something about "DOT background" - I assumed that to mean the FAA portion of PRIA.

This is more for curiosity at this point than anything else, but anybody know if that's it, or there's more?

Why do they need to get the PRIA from the previous employer, isn't that an FAA function? Do you mean that they were waiting for your training records, showing more that wants on PRIA?
