not sure these days. Things are in flux with this bid thatís about to come out that will likely have massive movement. Guessing 1 year or so to hold MCO E190 (no 195s). Few years to hold Airbus FO MCO.

Not sure what B6 has that AA doesnít (or Vice versa) culture or crew wise. My friends at AA seem happy there. B6 is not all unicorns and rainbows. Donít come to B6 for the culture or crew. You might be disappointed. Come for the job, the pay, maybe a base if the difference is a commute vs drive, maybe the ability to instruct in MCO (which you could do year 1 if you applied for a newhire instructor job). Year 1 youíll make about 80-90k. Year 2 on the E190 prob 115+, more if you hustle. Year 3 on the 190 150k isnít out of the question, especially now with as much premium as thereís been. So, do the math based on that. Good luck.
Thanks !

I guess I should have a little more specific and said AA regional... for at least 2-3 more years(?) before I actually flow.

From what little I've read the B6 contract looks pretty solid. Any opinions on that out there? Just trying to make the best decision for myself here. Crossing my fingers I don't eff up the interview here, but I've also interviewed elsewhere and also had AA offer up that $150k retention bonus to not leave... What would ya'll say are the best and worst parts of the contract?

The best part of the contract is scope. Unfortunately, the contract apparently does not matter as the scope clause is being violated anyway.

FWIW, Iím coming to B6 leaving those bonuses behind. Iíve done the math behind it and itís not enough to stay for me when comparing immediate QOL increase too

That's exactly what I'm driving at asking about the contract.

Out of curiosity, about when did you submit yours? Was it very close after the opening of the window? I passed 4 weeks now, and Iíve seen many in the same boat of 3+ weeks if they submitted a little later. I got my app right in the first week, got a video screen interview a few days later, and completed it toward the end of the second week.

Not exactly sure what you're saying "completed it toward end of the second week" the email for the video interview said to complete it in 7 days.

I got the email as I was finishing a trip and starting another trip (which turned out to be overblock hell with weather!) along with fall semester in college. I sent an email per instructed to ask for more time, never heard back and ended up submitting my video interview on the 7th day.

For whatever it's worth, due to all the weather delays I blocked almost 30 hours in four days, so I did the interview with absolute minimal prep, totally exhausted and felt like I bombed the crap out of it. That's not meant to discourage anyone who had proper prep time, etc, etc but more of a statement that I don't think they are looking for perfection. I just did my best to just be myself and 100% honest about my interest in B6.

I hope that's helpful, to you or anyone.

Thanks for your reply! Sorry for my confusing language, and even now I realize the timeline I was attempting to explain was in error. What I meant to say was the application window opened August 9th, I submitted my app the following week, received the invite for the video pre-screen at the beginning of the third week since the original application opening, and submitted a few days after the invite (within the 7 day window). What Iíve noticed in this thread is those who submitted their application the earliest and completed the video pre-screen the earliest seem to have heard back. Those a mere few days later havenít heard anything for several more weeks. Iím at just over 4 weeks since clicking submit on the pre-screen video interview.

Anyways, I guess no news is good news for now. Iíll just keep patiently refreshing my email between every leg
