Any 18/19 March interviewees out there? I'd love to hear how it went and if any updated hiring info was passed along ... updated new hire plans, summer training, expected class dates, etc.

Best of luck to those who interviewed and may your Phase II notifications come quickly!

Hey everyone, if you've had problems applying through the JB website, please let me know if you can help with this...

I'm attempting to upload my Letter of Recommendation and am having a couple of issues.

Uploading PDF's it tells me the file size is too large for each file; even though one is only 120kb.

Uploading another as a .doc file, it says the file name is incorrect (I'm not using spaces or any special characters).

SO, I'm clueless here...tried resizing the PDF's with a free service online but it really doesn't do anything for the kb size of the file; I was thinking maybe convert them to .doc files??

Please help and thanks!

I hijacked this idea from another airline "hiring pool" forum.

For my own SA, I was gathering data about training dates vs. interview dates as well as class aircraft/domicile breakdowns. I threw it in an excel sheet and it occurred to me that others might find the info useful.

This is by no means guaranteed accurate information. I gathered it from the forums on this website so it is all third hand. However, I do invite folks to provide additions and corrections via PM. If there is enough interest, I'll update the spreadsheet and re-post as required.

Again, this is for entertainment purposes only.

Cheers!

RDC

Well said. It should be easier to get new hires on board because of the lagging pay and benefits. The people you have to worry about are your top 10 percent on the seniority list. The ones Ive talked to have not been too friendly on the idea of collective bargaining.

Try using a different web browser, Firefox, chrome, safari, explorer. There have been similar problems in the past. The .doc filename should be your best option.

Yet United pilots will make more money than you and have better benefits in every category. 90+% of all airline pilots are unionised. Don't you have a company dinner to go to?
