Apparently U haven’t been reading what we have been writing without a preconceived notion of what u think we are saying..... We are agreeing with you however we simply disagree with your supposition that the announcement today was intentionally timed to coincide with the TA... I am highly concerned with what you state above which is why I am voting NO, but by all means keep arguing with us! Geeze!

It's not about any of that. Guys have been expressing concerns for days about JB having AA do all it's international flying outside the Caribbean, and then here we are the day before voting opens with a puff piece reinforcing organic transatlantic.
Some say it's been an open secret for months. I agree. But they didn't announce it 3 weeks ago, or a week after vote closes. They announce the day before voting opens on a TA that many fear would have AA do all JB international flying.
Or we can talk about seats and food if you want?

Can you admit it though... those seats look comfy...

That being said, I believe that JetBlue has full interest in continuing to open up new routes in Europe and expand as previously discussed and projected. I believe that's still what they want to do, and that's what this new product is specifically created for, disrupting the TA market and making money.
The language for the international flying is a double-edged sword as it is written. What no one seems to either see, or discuss, isn't that we are going to potentially lose all our international flying (personally I don't think we will), but that we can place our B6 code on all of AA's flying. That's the key, what they want, at least right now. This allows through bookings on B6 from BlueCities that we already have a client base, who can book on us through to all of AAs international destinations out of BOS, JFK and EWR. That's why in the language. Not so we can lose South America and never fly to Europe. Flying to Europe on JB metal in our new, fancy A321s makes much more sense for B6.
Now that all said, I don't think the language is as tight as it could be. And yes, it does, as I see it, allow for some of what people are concerned with. And even if I don't think that's JBs intention, I will vote NO until the language is clearer and firmer. Especially considering it's for over a decade.
ALPA came out last week with (paraphrasing): “If Jetblue plans to give up international flying to AA, then why are they still talking about London?” As if that is proof of anything.
It’s like saying “American wouldn’t be signing a ten year deal with Jetblue if they planned on going into bankruptcy”. It’s not proof of anything, the argument is a fallacy.
bluedriver is merely pointing out that the company wants to highlight ongoing London preparations as proof London isn’t in jeopardy with LOA 13. They don’t need every pilot to read the email, just enough to sway the vote to 51% in favor.

Sad... Like I was trying to say to Bluedriver, nice new pax seat, new soft product, promises of brand new 321LRs, Woopdie frickn do, It means nothing to us as a pilot group. Look at AA, some of the highest rates, crappiest work rules and horrible scope which allows their mgt to do this without even asking. Hold the line on scope.

no disrespect meant, but did you read the scope committee’s email? This plus Scott’s email puts me in the solid yes category. I understand we are voting differently (and that’s okay) but this befits us more than AA, and will result in more JetBlue flying.
Frankly, I don’t even see the downside. This isn’t a capacity purchase agreement. This isn’t AA taking our jobs. This isn’t a regional. This is AA (Eagle in my example) flying from ALB-JFK so we can fly that same customer to ABQ. We will make real money on the JFK-ABQ while making (basically) nothing on the ALB-JFK route.
win win for us and the company.
