Default CBA

Just wanna put this out there. CCBA is amenable in 2022. If LOA 13 is passed, it becomes part of the CBA. Even if you can argue that it isn't -we can renegotiate the whole damn thing again - including LOA 13. Just saying.

What? It becomes part of the current and future CBA as an LOA only. Not sure what you’re inferring, but it isn’t based on anything factual.

Man, I remember the last time ALPA said that at the regional, "we'll negotiate it down the road". Negotiations started November 2019.... wonder how that ended? Nowhere, all leverage gone. 2022 is not guaranteed to be any better than 2020. Don't just kick it down the road because you assume you'll fix it then.

That doesn't sound right....

Also, apparently on the pocket session call today they said this NEA happening no matter how we vote. So, vote accordingly and demand better!

Airline Negotiations 101 - Maybe you’ve never heard this from management before, but most of us have...

“What are you willing to give up for that?”

Haven't looked, but perhaps its contactual?
Also, keep in mind we have a lot of pilots out on leaves, not paying attention to anything etc etc. Some may be on vacations.
Two weeks is reasonable to allow everyone a chance.

Today’s pilot call-in sales job:

Minute five: “We’re in a really bad position because all our flying is concentrated in the Northeast...”

Minute fifteen: “What’s so great about this opportunity is it allows us to capture more flying in the Northeast...”

Monthly bidding stays open for about a week, but I always bid the same thing and it takes two minutes. A lot people don’t engage in work matters everyday especially with all the time off people are getting these days, so you need to accommodate everyone.

Great news everyone. Management has heard our cries to revisit profit sharing.

They just said they’re very willing to discuss it... But not until CBA 2022.

So it’s basically a done deal.

Both can be true. Mind blowing huh.
