Less than 24 hours now. It will be interesting to see what the union response is if the TA is voted down.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. I think they’re flipping a lot of votes.

it’s sad. They are supposed to work for the company, not our union

If this thing passes, the company will lowball ALL future negotiations.

ALPA just published a new FAQ email, comparing international flying between Jetblue and AA.

It came out at 9pm. The night before voting closes. WTF.

Also, FYI, at my last ALPA carrier, on the last day of voting an “ALPA Financial Analysis” White Paper started showing up all over our crew areas. This was on official ALPA letterhead and marked CONFIDENTIAL. There were copies everywhere, in multiple bases, so draw your own conclusions.

It outlined a “doom and gloom” prediction if the TA failed, and likely growth if the TA passed. The document looked totally legit.

After the TA passed by a mere 6 votes, ALPA claimed they had nothing to do with it. They suggested a rogue pilot created the study, and though they admitted the findings were accurate, it was not a sanctioned Union paper. Then it got hushed up faster than the Tim Martins fiasco.

If anyone sees anything similar in our crew rooms tomorrow, feel free to collect any such papers and discard as you see fit.
