Well with a Frontier-Spirit merger, I would apply to anyone that takes me to get on a list. Number of airlines to apply is dwindling.

JetBlue doesn’t have a choice and they don’t make good decisions anyway

JBU/ALK is the easy bet. Any other merger would probably have to wait for a new administration and AG to get through the DOJ. If they don’t like the Northeast Alliance they won’t like JB + SWA/Legacy X.

$1000 on Alaska. What are the odds these days? But seriously, Alaska would make way more sense

I want nothing to do with Alaska's scope language. An airline their size with so much of their flying being done by a 3rd party is ridiculous.

We talk about widebodies and expanding into Europe? I'd put my money on Hawaiian. Smaller pilot group, ALPA and they have widebodies.

You have to think that undermining our scope language would be a significant benefit to the company if they pursued an Alaska merger. We would have almost no ability as a group to stop them from bringing regional flying to Jetblue in that case (I welcome corrections if I am wrong). Best case scenario we impose something between our (pretty good) scope and Alaska’s (no scope) scope.

Give me Southwest all day long. I want to protect scope and AKs scope section is atrocious. Personally, I could care less about the plane or type of flying I do. I come to work to make money, and Southwest pilots do quite well financially. Gonna be interesting going forwards regardless.
