Yea they are. It was supposedly fixed, but apparently it’s still happening. I can honestly say I’d never seen any issues with the payroll department up until the last 4 months or so.

Nothing will change until flt ops gains control of crew scheduling.
It is the most asinine thing I can think of. Imagine trying to run a department on a budget and your biggest controllable cost, is run by another department that doesn’t care how much of your money they spend. It’s insane.

What a joke.
edit: Also, I'd like to see a more efficient and easier to use payroll system then what we currently have. If I need to go in after every trip to ensure i get EAS or disruption pay then it needs to be easier to use. I don't know any other professional industry where the employee needs to cross examine their payroll department to ensure their hours are correctly tallied up.

The answer is in your email. The icy ramps and snow are to blame for everything. Also feel free to volunteer some time helping out the operation for free, you can log it towards your community hours!
What a joke.

As you know Fixing the issues would be too costly it's cheaper to take the occasional hit on IROPs then create best practices processes and add staffing.
