Boy you got all figured out in your few months at Spirit. Unreal.

No one is advocating for a substandard JCBA. Idk why you guys think we can’t have both. In the famous words of Bluedriver… “Unreal.”

Yeah because we would be in August without any agreement still making 283/hr right? False assumption. This place would be melting more than it is now if nothing was signed by this point in time.

Just like you assume, I can also assume by now we'd already have better rates, better snap up clause, and better PS formula after voting down the first TA. Point is, none of us know what would have happened and some of us, like myself, was willing to risk it.

In the same breath, y'all was thumping your chest "we are the highest paying A320 pilots in the world" for one freaking day lol lol now look at us, ensure y'all put that award on ya refrigerator. Same sheit, same toilet. Smh meanwhile the others, so far, has improved their PS formula to match delta PLUSSS better rates than us. (For all those "I rather get it in pay than hope for sharing of profits. We're not getting that either, shocker)

Default Smart

Approving the latest contract was a smart move by both pilot groups – take the interim pay raise knowing we're going right back into negotiations. It also helped the company keep up with recruiting/retention. The upcoming JCBA is the one where we should really dig in and work to make gains.

DTZ and the red/green rules are non-negotiable. They make NK a far superior job to B6 in both earning potential and ability to structure your life how you want to live. Losing either would be a massive failure by the negotiating committee(s). They are not on the table. I'll literally quit if we lose those. No B.S.

While I agree and hope B6 mgmt does have a "Plan B". I would not want them to spill that tea over a recorded line for the DOJ to use in court "as a way for JB to compete without Spirit merger". I can see JB mgmt playing the "we need this merger else we will die" act in court and having a recorded Plan B does not bode well for that stance.

Ive always thought it was foolish not to have a soft mint product on the 220 deliveries.
