Approving the latest contract was a smart move by both pilot groups – take the interim pay raise knowing we're going right back into negotiations. It also helped the company keep up with recruiting/retention. The upcoming JCBA is the one where we should really dig in and work to make gains.
DTZ and the red/green rules are non-negotiable. They make NK a far superior job to B6 in both earning potential and ability to structure your life how you want to live. Losing either would be a massive failure by the negotiating committee(s). They are not on the table. I'll literally quit if we lose those. No B.S.

Also, it really sounds like they are desperate for the merger to go through to spread their network out. Can’t remember who it was, but they totally whiffed an answer to a plan B if the merger fails and JetBlue’s expansion outside of the northeast….

I can see JB mgmt playing the "we need this merger else we will die" act in court and having a recorded Plan B does not bode well for that stance.
