Finally, with enough openings elsewhere in the system and shrinking block hours E90 NYC guys will bid off voluntarily. The ones that don't can ALL be designated reserve and DH into position each week until they hate life enough to bid off or want to make more than guarantee.
This is severe intentional understaffing (bad planning) or evidence of a shrinking airline (we are) or a transactional event.
