Jetblue is telling you that your advancement displacements supersedes any vacation you may have.

No, but when a person has an BES award then subsequently that award is cancelled during vacation bidding they are forced to bid a vacation of in a status they will never hold. The company dropped the ball so many times it’s hard to keep track.

It doesn't. There's a group of advanced training going on and they have a 7 day break because the CA had vacation previously scheduled. The bad thing is that they get they 80 hours of training pay, which they'd get anyways, but now they lose a week of vacation with no benefit.

I was going to say I looked at it a few times before bidding and we keep the vacation award.

You are correct. I misread the post. There are pilots who had booked vacations that are not being afforded additional training dates to deconflict with previously planned trips.

Well if you booked a trip and didn't take vacation over it that's a you problem, no? Advanced displacement pilots vacation weeks are being honored when their training is built.

Some pilots that had trips scheduled, outside of a vacation footprint, are having training scheduled without the ability to adjust the training date. That is what I was getting at.

Bottom line is P!ss poor planning on the companies part combined with mind numbing lever pulls has eroded QOL for many. Three displacements in 5 years. Yes we knew the 190 displacement was coming. This last one was due to inept planning combined with canceling a bid in the middle of vacation bidding. It’s too much.
