Yes. And the emails from management talking about focusing on A14. My argument is if we focused on D0, A14 would come naturally. From my experience, there is not enough urgency to get the flight out. Those minutes matter, and over the course of a year, it really matters.

Corporate bond spreads right now are extremely tight. Wouldn’t be a dumb move to try and raise in this current environment.

Slightly off topic, but wanted to jump in here to spread some good news.
Looks like American pilots are getting closer to finalizing a merger to join ALPA.
What's the best part?
Combining the pilot profession into one voice 100,000 strong.
APA can stop riding ALPA's coattails.
ALPA dues will decrease for all if AA pilots join. Rumors are saying that ALPA is looking to lower dues to 1.4-1.5% range.
Talk to your buddies at AA - time to all get on the same bandwagon and move this profession forward together.

Imagine of our president was elected in a similar process; if you don’t go to th polls, your vote goes to the incumbent. it’s a veryyy high bar to raise here. the card drive got about 45%, but people were angry we didn’t get a lot of the QOL improvements in the last contract. some of that has faded.
Aslo, and just being honest here, in the current environment of mergers, there is a legitimate concern about how SLI would happen if we acquired an ALPA carries (NK, B6, F9) if we were indeed ALPA, vs indipendant APA
I don’t think it’ll happen, but in the current environment, you nerve know.
I think we would be much stronger as one massive ALPA, especially when it comes future battles on single pilot etc. but i just don’t know how his is gonna play out here. lots of Anti-Alpa sentiment still left over from TWA, Envoy guys and others
