JetBlue Latest and Greatest

In any case, I've never understood the viewpoint that airlines can't staff their positions. There is never a shortage of "qualified applicants". You don't think that a ton of regional guys aren't BEGGING to fly an Airbus 320/321 Part 121? Let's be realistic here. 99% of pilots will not pass up Spirit. Even if they totally hate Spirit, they will take the job, endure it, then go to greener pastures with an A320 type rating and 121 time to back it up. The pilot shortage issue is a false premise. Likewise, the definition of "qualified" will vary. Legally speaking, anyone holding an ATP license and a medical is "qualified" for employment. Spirit can hire anyone they want as long as they have those two things. Do you really think they will stop hiring pilots because they aren't 10,000 hour USAF test pilots or astronauts? Come on... they will gladly hire that guy who bent an airplane flying for someone in Africa, if they had to.

Even with a VPN, you still need to use an email address that cannot be tracked. Email addresses can still be correlated to a person unless you are hosted in a country that doesn't observe American laws. You can be identified personally just by having a cellphone near a computer or TV. Most people have no real idea how to stay anonymous in the digital age.

If you want to make it harder for them to unanonymize you, I suggest the following:
- use AirVPN - they actually don't keep logs since they outside the US jurisdiction
- use ProtonMail as your email address - again they are outside US jurisdiction. They are the only ones with true end-to-end encryption. Using Google mail, Yahoo, Exchange, etc. is like putting graffitti on the wall of the airport... you're trusting those companies with your private communications. Would you give me your APC password? If not, then why trust these companies?
- don't use Windows or any Mac products... use the Linux distro called "Tails". Be wary of the internet connection you are using while using Tails because doing it at your house will still be traceable.
Other advice, don't discuss union business through normal text messaging either. Normal text messages are also required to be retained. Even the so called "secure" iPhone messages are not secure since they are stored in Apple's cloud services. They too are a subpoena away. The only secure messaging platform is "Signal". It offers true end-to-end encryption. Apps like WhatsApp have known backdoors and are owned by disreputable companies anyways (e.g. Whatsapp is owned by Facebook).

Oh and one more thing... before Obama left office, he signed an executive order allowing the NSA to share their collection activities with other federal agencies such as the DEA, IRS, DOJ, and probably even the Dept of Education (student loans). 1984 happened and no one noticed. That is why hearings are now ongoing regarding unmasking Trump's associates' communications. So conceivably, yes, anything here can be de-anonymized by the NSA.
