Why do we have pilots who continually post pictures of A. Themselves not complying to SOP or B. Someone else not complying to SOP or C. All of the above.

Just look at instagram. You'll find them.

It really shouldn't bother me this much at all. I should be more patient, but when you state that all photos follow company SOP and FAR but they actually don't. And too boot you took the picture from the jump seat on your free ride to work.

I think maybe now it needs to go "can I have a ride to work and video tape you flying and put it on my instagram account?"

There was a photo floating around, if I can find it I'll share but it's a photo clearly taken with a go-pro and the Cappy has his feet up with news paper spread through out the whole cockpit.

But hey we're a major airline...

Plane picture are cool, I'm just as much of a plane dork as everyone else. But why do we gotta do this... and I get other airlines do it too. But I haven't seen what I have seen from what some of our professional photographers do.

They're cancelling flights because of staffing. They're so understaffed its pathetic. Think about the cost savings when they post record profits this year. Don't hire, cancel and plant green gardens. RECORD PROFITS! Makes a nice hook line when you put the company up for sale.

Silly question.......if we are making record profits with a pi$$ed (sort of) work group and so many delays, then why would they spend 300 million+ On a shiny pilot contract and make less? What is the motivation for them?

Limeyflyer or something...check out his Instagram - somehow he thinks that it's not sterile with the parking brake set. That doesn't allow you to use your personal device like that for pictures like holding short of a freaking runway! Through the HUD in-flight, active taxiways, in jumpseat video taping, I just don't understand how the company, FAA, or pro stans has not talked to him. It sheds a bad light on all of us, it's a public profile and it's all JetBlue and all in the cockpit! Guess it's all worth it if ym someone comments with that emoji with hearts in its eyes, or someone telling you I hope you have a great day Captain. Puke.
