I didn’t know Jetblue has the power to send out WARN letters to other airlines, that’s crazy. It’s a stupid codeshare agreement, it doesn’t shift the tide for either airline that much.

Lets not start this. AAL was losing in JFK, BOS and LAX and it wasn't because of Jetblue. We aren't chasing the corporate market at Jetblue. The 800lb gorilla of Delta airlines made the enemy of my enemy my friend.

It appears to me that Jetblue was in the power position during this negotiation and got a good deal but it also appears that AAL management is doing what it needs to do to come out of the back end of this as a dominant airline. This is probably good(using the larger view) for all of us. Either way, it has nothing to do with the pilots.

Reserves already sit at home and get paid for no work. That's the whole concept of reserve. its a 100% cost savings for the company and 100% cost for pilots who are now getting paid less money. The logic of "they get to sit at home", well pilots who get furloughed get to sit at home too. I'm shocked JBALPA didn't let this go to Membership Ratification.

Our furlough avoidance plan comes out today. I'm hoping there are no concessions like the one in the JB deal.

So 2 more days off and the same credit if I just UTOd a day in normal times which I sometimes did. Work less, make less.

I’d have likely voted yes, but this needed to go to a vote.

And no credit caps? The wh0res should have been limited.
I am not happy about the CAPS not being part of the LOA.

Please don't be small minded. You are better than that!

I am shocked that Dougie Fresh is still running AA.. ....Is that our fault too?

That's what I did. Three airlines lined out with my present airline on top. Always attracts attention and is a great conversation starter on the beach. Babes and Mamas love it.

2,500 AA pilots are not getting WARN letters **"because"** of this deal. AA furloughs were a foregone conclusion when COVID19 started to peak again.

If anything this deal will help reduce the number of AA furloughs via JB customers using AA for some itineraries.

Reserve status pre-Covid and reserve status since March are not even remotely the same. I think you missed the point, and I’m not going to argue about this any further. Yea, there probably should have been a vote, but our elected officials did what was best for the pilot group. I’m happy with the result; I think most are.
