No, but add 55% to the APC payscale on here and figure all but the highest paid will be at 100% increase in pay 36 months from DOS

Actually had a friend send them to me.

Right now I'm at a regional and I expect to flow to AA in 4-5 years. That said I'm pushing 40 and maybe actually making some money sooner would be nice.

So, what's the growth plan? 767s, 747s? DHL or Amazon or ?

What happens when CK kicks the bucket?

Rumor for fleet size was 20 747 and 20 767.

Make sure you do some serious math for the lifetime wage comparison between staying at a WO and flowing and going to an ACMI... you might be surprised what makes you more money in the long run.

Those that know me personally know that I do a lot of serious math.

If I were to flow in 5 years, then go to AA, my total compensation at AAG would be under what I'd earn at K4 for the next 21 years.

That assumes 1,000 credit at AA plus the 16% 401(k) contribution, at K4 that's 70 hours a month, a 5 year upgrade, and 5% 401(k) contribution.

Good deal. I know the numbers and outcome can change based on company comparison and timeline.

My advice, for what it is worth, is that you have to look at the lifestyle first and the pay rates second. If you like Pax flying and that lifestyle, verses being gone for 16 days a month, and in a different time zone every day, then come here. If not, stay, and take the flow. If you develop a family during your stay here you will find it very difficult to create a schedule that allows you to be home when you need to be. I have watched many a pilot under stress because they were missing important events at home. We may have great pay rates, but we still have a long way to go on work rules. We have no ability to drop or trade trips and we have absolutely no ability to guarantee that the trips we were awarded are the trips that we fly. (we have line guarantee pay). You can trade days off for important things at home but is comes at a financial cost to you.

Bottom line is, if you like passenger flying, stay where you are. ACMI carriers are not family friendly for the most part. That being said I love this lifestyle, but my kids are grown and I am single.

Quality of life at AA would be ten folds compared to ACMI flying.

Only job you have is the one you have right now. Would be a very poor decision to waste 5 years of your life "waiting" to flow. Everyone's hiring.

I don't think I'd listen to anyone on here that forces their opinion on you. Everyone's home situation is different. Just ask for the facts so you can make your own decision on coming over. You'd probably get a more honest opinion through PM and not under the public eye. Too many company bashers on here.
