Like I said it's not difficult, just different

Nope....! It is actually a very good question...., How is it different to land an E190 vs. A787? Or a 747 for that matter?

Or a better question would be...., How long have you been a pilot?

An experienced heavy driver includes dispatch into the decision making process...., he doesn't decide by an article he read in time magazine

Just like Malaysian was dispatched through Ukraine airspace.
I'm not arguing it's more difficult than domestic flying. There's just more items to pay attention to.

Well for one, the sight picture on landing. Two, when you reduce power and flare. Three, higher approach speeds and more inertia. I could go on.

How long have YOU been a pilot???

So how is the landing different (I fly RW.) I imagine the goal is to have minimum flare/aft yoke (that's what you guys call it, right?) applied so that all gear touches down nearly in unison?

Aside from that it's just appropriate A/S based on your weight and runway length, correct?

BTW, I realize this is probably a gross oversimplification, but I took a stab. I have no concept procedurally what you guys do.

Oh come on you can't be serious........I really hope you are joking. The 737 has approach speeds 20kts faster than anything commercially flown and it has a deck angle that promotes nose first landing. It also has the potential of a bounced landing and tail strike if the power is reduced to soon OR to late.

You are digging a hole popcorn.

Digging a hole? I didn't realize the Internet was a contest. Never flown a 737 and don't want to. I suspect you've never flown a heavy. Think whatever you want of me, doesn't really matter, I'm here for pure entertainment

Edit: Actually I just realized this is a contest, where the same 20 guys are constantly trying to prove they have the biggest weenie. You all win that too. I actually thought intelligent discussion was possible on this site, but I'm starting to think I was wrong. Nothing but trolls and egos. Oh well.
