this is not true. i called out a clearly racist joke 3-4 months ago and got sh!t on, followed up with a temp ban. there is rampant racism on this sight and mods dont do **** about it unless its against their political views. at least be an adult, have integrity , and admit this is a right leaning echo chamber with a few nuggets of valid info. happy to take another ban for disagreeing, cause you know, if you disagree with something, you can just storm the capital and stuff.

Lets be fair; the left has moved so far left, that even standards of 90s Democrats (myself included) are now considered right leaning. You wouldn’t be caught dead saying almost anything of that platform now, in current liberal circles.

You don’t have to go to the 90s. Obama used the supposed racist filibuster, was against gay marriage, supported deporting illegal immigrants, approved of private schooling, just to name a few. But you are right though, JFK would’ve been a right wing extremist today with his religion, his tax cuts, free trade, anti-communist, strong military, anti-abortion, appointed a justice who dissented on Roe, capital punishment, fiscal conservative, welfare reform policies.

The USAF has been looking at the pilot personality, etc., for decades. And, they have gone through many versions of diversity pushing to increase the numbers of minorities in the cockpit numerous times. The fact is it simply comes down to the individual and their given skills. The USAF keeps learning the lesson that it always boils down to that fact. No quota will ever change that.
