Remember that Domino's "We'll fix the potholes" commercial a few years back? Yeah that was in Evansville, IN. Who was the city Mayor? You guest it. Rainbow Pete.

This is lame, he said or implied nothing which even remotely brings B's personal life into this.

This is why it's hard to have discourse in this day and age... anyone who doesn't agree with someone's POV simply attacks them for being this -ist or that -ist.

If the only thing that matters to someone is sexual orientation or skin color, why would they bother having a discussion about other factors in play?

DOJ can do as they please, it’s in the hands of a republican appointed federal judge now.

This exactly.

Let’s not forget that our current vice president called our current president a racist during her run for the #1 seat. Funny how quickly things change.

It’s the standard playbook for most of the extreme left and most of the media. Disagree with them and you are racist, a conspiracy theorist, phobic of any kind, COVID misinformation spreader etc. they have figured out that once you hurl those charges out, even if not true, most of the sheep will follow and cancel them.

Sad state we are in.

There is only so much I can read in 29 minus: call hotel, open uber just in case, parking checklist, plug headset back in, walk to pick up point minutes....

All judges are required to apply the law as they interpret it. Their rulings can be appealed. The process can take a long time. And that may be the MO of the DOJ. Kind of like UAL/USAir, drag it on long enough that the one or the other change there mind.

And one party can request summary judgment in their favor too. The REAL question is why the other judge hasn’t yet rendered a verdict on the NEA case that ended last year. Once the court case is final, that should end the case. It shouldn’t drag out to see if it can be used for horse trading in a subsequent unrelated issue.
