Obviously it's not the front end of the wave seniority progression but it's not like you're going to be the plug for 7 years followed by plug upgrade at 22 years of service.
The lines are pretty linear at that point with a decrease in final seniority percentage of 2-3% per year. So 30 year olds will see approximately 10% and 25 year olds will probably be double digit seniority numbers at retirement.

Your happiness at Southwest would be a sounding board. That’s what this website is for those inside vs outside the money circles.

dude, wtf kind of comment is this? People take all kinds of paths to all kinds of aviation. You have no idea what the caliber is of the person you are talking to.
the interesting thing you seem to not understand is that the loudest people in the room are the most insecure……get a grip.
furthermore, talking trash like that while hiding behind your keyboard is really really easy….isnt it tough guy?
You are a ****ing child

He doesn’t represent the “new” Delta. His attitude will be dead soon…just glad it didn’t get extended another 2 years.
His mailbox in Peach Tree City probably reads “Captain ________”.
Bye Bye Nick…bless your heart.

That’s what you got out of that? Also yea I asked since you’re talking down someone else’s employer for some reason. Maybe you’re not currently happy with yourself.

"Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA", HMM? But somehow it's Gary and SWAPA fault? Interesting ALPA's the one who threw you under the bus was it not? You were going to be fenced in ATL for 10 years, get to keep all your Captain Seats, and get all the upgrades for like 3 years and they were goint to keep the 717 and make TPA base. ALPA said no! So you did not even get to you vote on it, and then you guys filed law suit against ALPA.

This right from court records. So the court has zero clue what went down as well?
"The AirTran pilots in attendance expressed differing views about Integration Agreement 1. MEC members Christine Janning, Jeffrey Mertens, and James Sullivan testified that the weight of pilot sentiment was against the deal; other MEC members testified that the pilots' views varied widely. It is undisputed that a number of the MEC members themselves remained conflicted about the correct decision right up until the formal vote. When the formal vote occurred, MEC members voted 7 to 1 to reject Integration Agreement 1.
Because the MEC members rejected Integration Agreement 1, in keeping with the Process Agreement, it never was submitted to the AirTran pilots for a ratification vote. Instead, the AirTran Merger Committee went back to the drawing board with the Southwest Merger Committee."
Thus SL10 was born, and what you and others voted on and agreed to, was it not?
