And I see no response.

Other than that, I'm completely clueless as to what you're talking about.
And I know Carl. I've corresponded with him privately quite a bit (both email and on the phone) and I had him on my jumpseat once a few years ago. The stuff guys (I can't remember if it was you or not) posted about him and his side business is off the mark. Carl is a good guy and his motives are the same as mine... restoring this profession.

This thread in particular, and the LAG as well, have become a a cesspool of feces flinging primates that are shrieking at each other.
Some individuals are more strident and unfortunately more condescending than others. The personal attacks are are out of hand.
For that reason, I spend far less time getting my information about the state of the pilots and airline from here.
Every so often I will peek in when something significant is brewing, like today. Earnings and Ebola. On Ebola: when will ALPA and dal address this and will it be pushed out as an insignificant risk like malaria first was until there is an industry incident? Do you want to enter that lav on the trip out of Lagos after a passenger has just vomited in there? Chances are they have a stomach bug. But, are we sure? Do we have gloves available to us? How well are those aircraft cleaned post crossing, particularly the lavs, which are just little closets slightly larger than a coffin designed for the release of bodily fluids.
Drove by here to see if there is any discussion. Nope, just poop chucking again, and by the same few as per usual.
T, consider this as an intervention of sorts. You are definitely part of the few. I have casually mentioned that maybe you need to tone it down considering your position and the leadership qualities that are required for it. You display absolutely no leadership qualities here and are more apt to tear people down with condescending personal attacks.
The last thing you want is a to tangle yourself up with Pro Stan. Your written word that is archived here would not bode well once it floated up to FS and was reviewed.
In my life experience I have met many individuals who thought they could act and behave one way in private and another in public. They were the proverbial zebras trying to disguise or present themselves as race horses. Their stripes always showed through eventually.
Those stripes are not gonna look good on you.
So, I'll leave with this last quote from the urban poet Ice Cube that I mentioned before.
So come on and chickity check yo self before you wreck yo self

Hey, enjoy your weekend.
I love the Ole Miss story, but here's your chance to join the upset train.
If the Vols can get big games from all of their receivers, force a couple turnovers and capitalize in them, and most importantly find "Bad Bo" they can do it.

Yeah and monkeys might fly out of special places too. I was at that game too btw. ^^^^ We couldn't have stopped that guy with anything less than an AR15.
But thanks for your previous admonition nonetheless.

I'll name more if you want. There are worse offenders. We all know who they are.
But T, they don't have anything really to lose. You have more skin in the game as you serve your position at the pleasure of FS and Delta. Some of the ALPA guys that get out of hand, they really don't have the risk of any professional blow back. The DPA guys, that Association is dead, and the ranting offenders are like zombies, hopelessly re-animated for nothing.
My wish. My wish is for some semblance of unity in 2015. No more NvS, no more SLI rehashing, no more ALPA v DPA.
Collectively, with the right leadership that is professional yet FIRM, we can succeed going forward. Remember, it's just business.

Well, here's the latest from a DPA email:
____________________
On October 7th, ALPA filed a motion for an Emergency Protective Order attempting to deprive DPA of our lawful right to pursue those involved in the hacking. DPA responded today with a Memorandum in Opposition to the motion, asserting our compliance with the Judge's instructions and our right to proceed with the lawsuit in a different jurisdiction. Delta Pilots should be asking, "Why is ALPA so interested in concealing the identities of individuals involved in the case?" Time will tell.

An Emergency Protective Order is not very common in civil suits. Doesn't look like people are talking settlement. I sure hope this thing gets solved before it blows up, but this doesn't give me a lot of hope.
