It appears to be that the lawsuit is the sole remaining purpose of the DPA.

Could be man. They might just be trying to clear their names from the DALPA claims that DPA hacked their own website due to their incompetence.

If DPA did accidentally hack their own website, it's difficult to imagine why DALPA would file an Emergency Protection Order to keep from turning over evidence.

Maybe because they're a union trying to protect an innocent member from being railroaded.

Let's look at that theory. If an innocent member was being railroaded by DPA so that DPA can cover up the fact that they accidentally hacked their own website, why doesn't DALPA release everything they have to really embarrass DPA? Why instead file an Emergency Protective Order to conceal DPA's incompetence?

I know how a union railroads its members down a certain path. Been there, seen that, got the t-shirt. But how does someone who is innocent get railroaded in the legal system when there is no evidence to convict him?

In court in front of a judge and/or jury, slick sales pitches and scare tactics don't work. You need evidence. If a person is innocent, then there is no evidence.

When do we expect DPA to have the requisite votes? How long has the DPA been collecting ballots? Isn't it time for the white flag?

While I agree that DPAs time has come and gone, I have not observed their white flag.

I have observed my current collective bargaining agent's however.

Exactly. And that "white flag" is a big part of the reason DPA came into being in the first place.

If DALPA is so bad then why was the DPA unsuccessful?

Sorry, but where I am from white flags are for losers, and the DPA just like the Pearl Group and UPA are clearly the losers. ALPA is the winner; 51,000 strong and growing. Welcome JetBlue pilots! You made the right call.

Holy propaganda, Batman.

Tone it down a bit, ok? Guys spouting like you are a big reason why the DPA and UPA continue to exist.
