Dumba$$!
No they are not any better than them. Who cares if RAH guys are senior to some F9 guys? This will not matter after LOA 67!

I'm glad F9 pilots are finally being honest. Is this the official stance of the RPC?

Those 300 have more longevity, not seniority.

I never said that we are "better". I even threw in the comparison with Delta and US Airways just in case you decided to read it that way.

Do YOU think that A330 pilots are "better" than A320 pilots?
Do YOU think that 747 pilots are "better" than 737 pilots?
Do YOU think that the arbitrators thought that they were "better"?

It's pretty lame that the thought even entered your head.

The official stance of RPC is that we need to work together. The official stance of IBT is that RAH guys should hold the reins.

One thing is clear in all of this. Republic management is scum, they are a cancer to this industry. I hate too see people lose jobs but I won't shed a tier if Republic fails.

You and I lost our jobs to these clowns and all they can do is get on a message board and bicker and argue over who is screwing who in their arbitration. Neither one of them have any idea of the pain and hardship others have had to endure due to their actions. Instead, we get to read of their dispute over and over again. To all outsiders reading this: Republic Airlines is directly responsible for the overthrow and termination of Midwest and Skyway employees. All were REPLACED by lower paid individuals who gladly took our jobs. F9 feels they are "Owed" by their masters and should remain separate because "We interviewed for our jobs and we can't have these RAH RJ pilots get in our Airbus without going the same route we did.". What a freaking horse opera. Again, I hope both of you fail. At least then, we won't have to read about your petty arguments any more on this board.

Don't know Dirty Rat, but I think his bitterness is justified. All in all, I find it abhorable that some of you Rep guys don't seem to have the smallest ounce of compassion or sympathy toward the Midwest guys. Not knowing all the details, I cannot speak in absolutes, but I find it disgusting that a pilot group could sit by idly while another pilot group is eradicated to the unemployment line.

Personally, I think F9 pilots should do what they need to as a pilot group. Rep pilots don't seem to be concerned about uniting with pilot groups the company acquires, thereby allowing an environment of whipsawing to occur. Only problem here is that the Rep pilots don't like being on that sour end of the whipsaw.

As for Dirty Rat, and any of his Midwest counterparts, I truly wish you guys and gals all the best in the future, and I would be happy to help any of you out in any way I can.

As union members, we should remember that we do not control management, but we are responsible for our own actions. As much as I sympathize for the Frontier pilots, strategically, they sure appear to be going down the wrong road.

Skyway pilots were treated as separate and not protected by MidWest pilots. Midwest pilots were treated as separate and not protected by Northwest (Delta) pilots. Now Frontier's pilots has maneuvered to keep themselves separate from Republic's pilots. Delta found reasons to separate Compass and watched 500 members of their MEC vanish. US Air has continued a labor battle that prevents it from moving forward. The end result of disunity is nearly always the same.

In contrast the Delta & Northwest pilots found unity and have benefited (on the whole). Republic pilots fought for unity (scope) and they too have benefited from unity.

FWIW, take a lesson from history. What has worked elsewhere and what hasn't?

It probably will happen. When it does, I will not blame the pilots who work for the company that bought up the pieces. I'll do my best to see the situation for what it really is instead of lashing out at anyone I can. I don't blame YX guys for being bitter and mad. Any pilot in their situation would be extremely upset. However, you continously placing blame on a group of people who had absolutely zero say in what happened to you has caused most of us to feel a little less sympathetic. Dirty Rat has been the most vocal, and most of his arguments lack any intelligence whatsoever. He just spews whatever comes to mind and hates everyone associated with this situation.

Also, just going to say that blaming Republic for the Skyway situation is BEYOND dirty. I have more than a few friends that are ex skyway. Their view is almost universal that YX guys sold them down the river. Just turned your back and acted like nothing was going on. To put blame on a pilot group who barely knew your company existed at the time is even low for someone like dirty rat.

Not at all! And yes we are being honest for wanting RAH and F9 pilots to be inclusive and not exclusive. Vote RPC!
