I never said that we are "better". I even threw in the comparison with Delta and US Airways just in case you decided to read it that way.
Do YOU think that A330 pilots are "better" than A320 pilots?
Do YOU think that 747 pilots are "better" than 737 pilots?
Do YOU think that the arbitrators thought that they were "better"?
It's pretty lame that the thought even entered your head.
I've never seen a better example of irony.
The official stance of RPC is that we need to work together. The official stance of IBT is that RAH guys should hold the reins.

We'll see how you feel when Bedford parts out his crumbling empire and some one says to you "we bought you, your contract is worthless", and suppose your new masters decide everyone flying a 50 seater will be furloughed out of seniority.
Then, again, it could be the best thing that ever happened to you 'cause you couldn't work for any worse low lifes than you do now.

Personally, I think F9 pilots should do what they need to as a pilot group. Rep pilots don't seem to be concerned about uniting with pilot groups the company acquires, thereby allowing an environment of whipsawing to occur. Only problem here is that the Rep pilots don't like being on that sour end of the whipsaw.
As for Dirty Rat, and any of his Midwest counterparts, I truly wish you guys and gals all the best in the future, and I would be happy to help any of you out in any way I can.

Skyway pilots were treated as separate and not protected by MidWest pilots. Midwest pilots were treated as separate and not protected by Northwest (Delta) pilots. Now Frontier's pilots has maneuvered to keep themselves separate from Republic's pilots. Delta found reasons to separate Compass and watched 500 members of their MEC vanish. US Air has continued a labor battle that prevents it from moving forward. The end result of disunity is nearly always the same.
In contrast the Delta & Northwest pilots found unity and have benefited (on the whole). Republic pilots fought for unity (scope) and they too have benefited from unity.
FWIW, take a lesson from history. What has worked elsewhere and what hasn't?

It probably will happen. When it does, I will not blame the pilots who work for the company that bought up the pieces. I'll do my best to see the situation for what it really is instead of lashing out at anyone I can. I don't blame YX guys for being bitter and mad. Any pilot in their situation would be extremely upset. However, you continously placing blame on a group of people who had absolutely zero say in what happened to you has caused most of us to feel a little less sympathetic. Dirty Rat has been the most vocal, and most of his arguments lack any intelligence whatsoever. He just spews whatever comes to mind and hates everyone associated with this situation.
Also, just going to say that blaming Republic for the Skyway situation is BEYOND dirty. I have more than a few friends that are ex skyway. Their view is almost universal that YX guys sold them down the river. Just turned your back and acted like nothing was going on. To put blame on a pilot group who barely knew your company existed at the time is even low for someone like dirty rat.
