The FAPA boys will be far less high and mighty sitting in the same wreckage pile the Midwest guys are in. All with the RAH flag on top. 18 months - tops.

The difference is the Midwest guys took the high road, and were shot off it by their management. The FAPA guys are coming up from the gutter with this most recent concession garbage. Midwest will be remembered as a great airline with a proud and fondly remembered pilot group. Frontier will be remembered as the one of the last pilot groups that tried to subvert the entire industry to save their tails.

Get over yourself with the "greater than thou" attitude, especially coming from F9, which is nothing more than a "stepping stone, regional-esque" airline in the first place. Much like Midwest "was", and no longer "is".

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I don't have a holier than though attitude, I just can understand why people at F9 want to control who gets on property based on the persons attitude and charicteristics. I never have said and don't believe that RAH pilots are inferior, so don't paint me with that brush. Some of them are great pilots and some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Once again, hyperbolic.

Regards screening in hiring, one of the reasons for Southwest's success is that they're very careful about that. it does matter, and having been at a regional, I know that there's a filtering process between the regionals and the larger airlines. Now we don't have that, and it makes me concerned. It's not about the 95% of RAH pilots that are great, it's the other 5% whose impact outweighs their numbers. That 5% was getting whittled down to about 1% in the hiring process.

For those who think that Airbus doesn't care about our participation in concessions, they have already called FAPA to thank us.

And you think that's a good thing?

That's like being excited Pfizer called to say thanks for being impotent so they can sell you more Viagra.

No, it was in reference to the claim that Airbus would make the contributions to the cause regardless of what we did (i.e. they didn't care about what we do).

I can't believe the Frontier pilots would vote themselves a paycut and then brag about it on here like they just received an industry leading contract. They truly do compare themselves to the regionals instead of the majors. They deserve Republic and everything that comes with that (Bedford).

A convenient excuse.

Another excuse.

Its already gone for good, thanks to guys like you, VX, and AGT non-Union pilots who have no trouble undercutting contracts and displacing Union pilots. It makes me want to puke when I see an E-190 in Midwest Express paint.

You and your RAH "brothers" are solely responsible for any anger directed towards you for helping kill off Midwest and stabbing 400 Union pilots in the back.

Exactly. Pilots. We're our own worst enemy.

You can drive a Mack truck through any contract when a Judge is at the wheel!

Mr. Fishfreighter, I keep asking this question but none of you self-righteous critics wants to answer. What would you have done if you were a RAH guy in that same situation?
