Somehow I doubt a relative handful of E-Jets and 135/145s is the root cause responsible for Frontier's financial losses.

BTW Do you know when all the 170s are gone from branded flying?

Mark my words though, the IBT is going to scream murder when those numbers come out that BB is cooking the books as they try to continue contract negotiations for the 4 or 5 year.
They were supposed to be off this summer, July I think? I'm sure we will use them up to the last possible moment before DL takes them to paint. I know there's a few left bouncing around MKE but as they leave those routes are either being eliminated or giving to the 145. Elimination of routes is not good business right now either while others are expanding. Especially RDU, BDL hell even ATW is getting more flying from others but we are ending service. Go figure.

During BK we were told they needed to charge around $8 more per ticket on a E170 to have the same break even PAX load as the Q400. Fuel was higher then, around $120 but what is the fuel cost per seat for a 135? My point is they shouldn't cry about high costs and ask for wage concessions when management makes such stupid business decisions. I think they paid around 23 million to get out of leases one quarter (some may have been RJ returns and I'm too lazy to look it up).

As someone said earlier branded ops fleet plan was modified post BK by RAH management. Shocker it hasn't worked out. There has been a continuous stream of stupid decisions as the reason for their losses... take your pick.

I agree one bazillion percent that divesting the Q400s was a stupid decision par none.

I managed to take a voluntary furlough and get severance package... so it worked out for me though.

Can't wait to see their next move. How about "We are the GREEN AIRLINE"... because they ordered some NEO options!

Serious question only. Not bashing.

They bought it hook line and sinker. I am always amused by the continued buffoonery by the folks at FAPA. Quite possibly the weakest union in airline history.

Now, the hilarious thing is that FAPA has the pilots convinced that they will be in good shape if they buy a bunch of new (read expensive+interest) aircraft...

The Debt Dogs of Airlines (AMR, DAL, LCC, RJET, UAL)

Apparently Bedford read the book "Borrow your way to profitability", and we see how well thats working out for them... I have looked, and looked, and looked, but still cant find that book anywhere....

F9 is in the toilet, The new plane contract is the toilet paper, and FAPA is the fecal matter racing towards the sewer.... Who flushed you ask? Mr Bedford..... And he is laughing his way to the bank, with their wage concessions....

Quite possibly the best entertainment in the airline news!!!!!!!

Seriously, keep it up guys (FAPA), it gives a great example for other unions of what not to do....(lolz)

I screamed for joy and started crying when you said that, but then I realized that you were just wishing.
