We might have some lease returns as well, possible reason for a lack of upgrades on the system bid.

And don't forget about the 10 year wait to move up 110 numbers in seniority.

I bet you we don't. Unless the economy collapses. I don't expect lease returns in the near-medium term.

Eight years
.....so for a new hire maybe it would be closer to 180 numbers in ten years.

Let's hope we grow/hire. The CP in BOS put out a great email this morning asking people to pick up open time. Hopefully no one bites, then maybe they will revisit our current staffing needs. Probably just wishfull thinking on my part.

This email was almost as good as the one asking the BOS captains to make an announcement about the new "Dalla" TV show as we descend into DFW. Only JetBlue would compromise safety to advertise a tv program in flight.

"Hi Folks- This is your captain speaking. I’d like to welcome you aboard JetBlue Flight 123 with service to one of our newest destination, Dallas-Fort Worth! To celebrate our new route and the premiere of TNT’s new show Dallas on June 13th, TNT created a welcome sign for us near DFW that truly takes the “Big as Texas” mentality to heart. When we begin our final approach into DFW, I’ll let you know which side of the plane to look from to see a 5 acre art installation that we’re pretty pleased with. It’s made of environmentally sustainable materials and even includes our signature Terra Blues chips to really make it pop. Enjoy! And we hope you’ll tune in every Wednesday this summer at 9/8c, to watch the next generation of Ewings on TNT."

Are you so poor a pilot that you can't make an announcement and still safely fly the aircraft? Perhaps you need to go back to training.
