I am curious why ALPA hasn't had a Union drive at JetBlue since the rules changed, it seems like it would be an easy task considering a non vote does not constitute a "NO" vote now.....

The ALPA drive failed last year and ALPA are wary. The force is strong with the weak.

Really, the guy only said he "hopes" it happens. Not "expects" or "they said it so it will happen." We are not in a position to negotiate, obviously. Therefore, I "hope" we get a raise, too. I don't expect it; I am skeptical, doubt it will happen, but sure, I hope it happens. Don't you?
Hoping for a raise at this point is all we can do, since we have no "hand." In the meantime, we can work on organizing so we don't have to "hope" for a raise.
