But some do.....and rightfully should. You're talking about more seats and it should equal more pay.
But hey, if you had a CBA, you'd be able to negotiate appropriate rates for appropriate seats. Along with negotiating many other aspects of your operation. Unfortunately for now, you eat what they're serving (just like health care rates)....and deservedly so since your group turned down the organization drive last time around.
Wake up and join your unionized brothers and sisters so you can have a say in your future.

Majority of the JB pilots I have flown with have relatively little international experience. However it isn't necessarily a necessity for the route structure we fly, I guess I don't see the comical relevance!!

The relevance is, Jet blue pilots (according to your colleague) are far more experienced than a regional pilot. I found it funny that he / she made such a general statement not knowing the background of MOST regional pilots.

How about this. Many regional pilots, particularly those hired in the 2000s, joined the regional airlines directly from training with under 300 hours, or directly from being a flight instructor with under 1500 hours.
Not all, but certainly not just a few either.

I don't think MOST regional pilots came from international flight departments. Most came from flight schools. There aren't many pilots who would leave a 120k + a year to go back to 25k a year at a regional. JetBlue on the other hand has quite a few pilots that came from heavy international flight departments. I also don't think JB pilots are necessarily more or less experience than the average regional pilot, the industry has been relatively stagnet for so long that many good pilots with great levels of experience have gotten stuck at the regionals.

We will be happy to accept Southwest's single pay concept...along with the entire SW contract including health care, profit sharing and workrules. Hell, we will even accept the 5% haircut promised by that bowtie wearing dingleberry* 10 years ago!!
*Al Spain for those not lucky enough to personally hear him spread his line of bullsh!t.

Don't fill the company's cherry picking role for them.
