Who's been hired? [New Employer Can ID You!]

Sliceback, I agree with you on meeting the requirements. I just figured that if they saw a First Class medical in the system and saw that I was still flying 121 it would be seen as one of those things i would need to have updated prior to the interview. I'm not sure why I thought that. I will definitely hit the conferences.
CODs4ever, since I fly as an FO (SIC) I can fly with a current Second Class. If I were the PIC or a required crew member over 60, I would have to renew every six months as well. I fall under (2) below.
§61.23 Medical certificates: Requirement and duration.
(a) Operations requiring a medical certificate. Except as provided in paragraphs (b) and (c) of this section, a person—
(1) Must hold a first-class medical certificate:
(i) When exercising the pilot-in-command privileges of an airline transport pilot certificate;
(ii) When exercising the second-in-command privileges of an airline transport pilot certificate in a flag or supplemental operation in part 121 of this chapter that requires three or more pilots; or
(iii) When serving as a required pilot flightcrew member in an operation conducted under part 121 of this chapter if the pilot has reached his or her 60th birthday.
(2) Must hold at least a second class medical certificate when exercising:
(i) Second-in-command privileges of an airline transport pilot certificate in part 121 of this chapter (other than operations specified in paragraph (a)(1)(ii) of this section); or...

Or expired as in what's applicable to the operation to be conducted/age, etc...?
As an applicant for the majors, should I be going to my AME every 6 months for a medical, regardless of age?

Based on what I have read here, if it shows as being more than 6 months old, the computer will drop you from consideration.

Congrats to all the new hires!!!
Can someone please give me a clue what I am doing wrong? Here are my stats:
2800+ TT
2400+ MEL
1650+ PIC (all heavy military)
750+ IP/EP
Masters w/3.9
BS w/ 3.7
Currently flying 121 for a regional making peanuts. Apps have been in to the Majors and Legacy guys for two years. Finally retired from the AF this summer and have been flying 121 for about 4 months. Several internal recs at DAL, UAL, AA and SWA. One friend sent an email to HR at DAL over 8 months ago. I have heard nothing but crickets. No "fix it" email. No "TBNT" emails. Nothing at all.
I will say I have not been to any hiring events yet. I planned to go to the last WIA but I ended up being in indoc at my regional during the conference. I will hit every single one I can from here on. But, being on reserve with no seniority will make that hit or miss.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I specifically asked a United recruiter about that at an ALPA meet-and-greet and was assured that updating every 6 months wasn't necessary if you were young enough for the 12 month requirement. The person I spoke wasn't 100% sure at first but researched it and called me after the event to follow up. Delta invited me to interview 11 months after my medical date. YMMV.

I beg to differ. His numbers are just fine and pretty typical for a military background. Lots of ex-mil pilots getting hired with those numbers or less. Building time at a regional will just increase his odds of getting hired even though the pay sucks and is a slap in the face to anyone who meets ATP minimums.
