Wouldn't it be nice if, when trying to show solidarity, we could individually choose what the right course is😒
We are a union. As in "unified" as in show some solidarity and support and wear the damn lanyard like the majority of your fellow pilots are doing.
It's a lanyard. You scared the passengers won't think you make millions anymore or the pretty girl passengers will giggle at you?

Take pride in your profession and fight to raise the bar? Dude, you've already undercut your profession by accepting employment at a place that pays 40% below prevailing wages.

Go somewhere else like United that pays 40% more and settle for less than mediocrity?

So what did you tell the United pilots during their bankruptcies, loss of their retirement and furloughs? Did you advise them to go somewhere else also to make more? I guess most stayed and held their ground for a better contract. Good thing they didn't listen to your advice.

Anytime I see someone NOT wearing the green lanyard I honestly do wonder if he is one of the company minions. The always taking the trip for MUP, call for your paperwork and fuel crowd.

I hate lanyards because no one can see my badge to read my name in case they forgot, and they are highly annoying because they flop around and get in the way of everything. I'm more of a clip guy myself. But right now you bet your ass I'm rocking a green lanyard.

Yeah, I hate the way my ID flops around too. So I just tuck the ID portion in my shirt, behind my tie. Works well, lasts a long time.

Are you kidding? Those two got an industry average pay package. Why would they leave? We are no where near average. AA FO $160. NK CA $170. But you know this.
We are paid more than 50% below average but we should just be happy we have a job? If you don't want to make this place better for all I suggest you leave. Silver has a quick upgrade. We don't need anymore apologist at this place.
