Exactly! We will be the second lowest paid Airbus pilots in the industry. We have a managment team who has canceled negotiations for a second time and we still have pilots "standing" around to help the company. We have gone the extra mile to help this company make a lot of money. It is time we are paid for our efforts.

Does Euro or Bendover et al negotiate for their jobs by saying, "I just need enough to pay for my toys"?

No way. They say "industry average for this position is X. If I do an exceptional job I expect X+Y."
Why do you expect anything less? Guys like you are the reason it's going to take until 2020 and they'll propose a substandard contract. This place is full of Nancy's.

I'm one of the non green lanyard. I choose not to wear it, because I feel it accomplish nothing. It doesn't mean I help out the company in any way. I feel, by me not answering my phone on my days off will have more of an impact than the lanyard I wear.

Sorry, but that's weak reasoning. Do both! It's really not that difficult.
Once negotiations are finished, go back to whatever means of displaying your ID that you like. Until then, join the team!

No, guys like you are the reason we won't have a contract until 2020. If management doesn't like the terms of their contract, they're free to leave as well.

In an attempt not to be offensive, I don't think we would use it as a bar. It's not as good as the last company proposal that the NC released. I actually hope you guys tell them where to go with that TA but it's up to you guys what you want. I think some view not so much as a bar to get over but the new floor that brings up the "average".

Are you kidding? Those two got an industry average pay package. Why would they leave? We are no where near average. AA FO $160. NK CA $170. But you know this.

We are paid more than 50% below average but we should just be happy we have a job? If you don't want to make this place better for all I suggest you leave. Silver has a quick upgrade. We don't need anymore apologist at this place.
