No - it's free money for the company so why not offer it?

Also - we won't see concessions in january nor will the company ask for them. IF there is No PSP by then (unlikely) then we will jump straight to furlough. The MOU isn't saving enough money to matter.

Also - we continue to **** off one of our partners. We gotta stop that. Or it's going to be a huge reduction come January.

It's to late, The American Contract is already dead in the water. I'm now 100% convinced it won't be renewed. DFW, PHX, and SDF bases will be closing. Mass downgrades and furloughs will happen. Only the top 20% of the seniority list will be able to keep position and have a line. Bottom 35ish% will be on the street as the AA side comes to an end.

5 DFW cancelations today, none of them for light loads (70, 71, 72, 73, and 78 pax respectively) 3 covered by last second Envoy flights, 1 by a last second mainline flight. 1 Cancelled in PHX.

11 of 25 PHX flights delayed. All this with reduced flight schedules and a contract coming due for extension in a couple of months. It's 100% over Management has given up. With how the delays and cancelations have been managed the last week they've been told that the contract won't be renewed.

Shows over on the AA side, they like to say its a "slow draw down on the AA side" I'm willing to bet it'll be quick. Either AA will claim force majeure and blow it up or AA will just buy Mesa out of the rest of the drawdown to get it over with.

Its not over till it’s over, in my previous career in insurance hard times came and went, what matters is the people you have on your team. The Mesa family is capable of anything. In terms of the American contract all we need to do is roll our sleeves up and do the job. Help carry bags, assist passengers and help out around the ramp if necessary. All of our passengers know they’re on a Mesa airplane, so when they see the service provided they’ll relay it to customer service. American will renew the contract because of our hospitality. We’re a family here, the crews the employees and all the passengers. Wear your uniform with pride and good things will come.

FOs, don't forget to fuel the plane while you preflight, too.

legally we can’t, but it would be wise to be cross trained at smaller stations. Every penny saved will lead to the success of Mesa. From payroll to hotels, if we do our part nothing can stand in our way. We need to have each other’s backs, especially those in IAH. They have been selling everyone else out for far too long. Time to step up and work together.

Maybe WE should pay THEM to fly their planes too. I bet that would save them a ton of cash.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pilots doing work at the outstation? Why don't you bust out the vacuums and sani spray at the terminator, clean that lav! It amazing how some pilots love to be the enemy and don't realize how much they are hurting themselves and the rest in our industry. I wonder if it's just the rich kids or the kids that have never had a real job to realize their self worth as professional aviators.

Makes for good reading though!
