Been on reserve for 8 months. Can’t be any worse. Would have rather been furloughed and collecting unemployment while looking for another job. Now it’s looking for another job while commuting to reserve. My buddy is making more on unemployment than I am spending money to go sit reserve.

What’s worse than commuting to a short call reserve in the regionals? As far as the airlines are concerned. I’m honestly curious. If you’re saying the pay, yeah, I wouldn’t have showed up for the pay they used to have. $50k a year is my minimum to get out of bed.

put in 2 weeks notice once you have a job lined up. $36-$37 an hr isn’t the place to be after 12 months. 500 turbojet hours and you can get higher paying work. DM me and I’ll help
P.s. your sim hrs at initial and recurrent count towards your total time

You guys just need to get your resume together and pull the trigger. If you have a clean PRIA and a 4 year degree it isn’t hard to find work that pays more than Mesa. Might even find yourself doubling Mesa salary 😜
