Bad deal.
1. JO will implement MX they deffered and not make a profit.
2. Giving up 8 hrs for only 1 additional day off.
3. Doesn't apply to 737?
4. So we will get 6 hrs in 2022.

And that's only from what I read so far

Not a bad deal. With 35 pct long call you’ll get paid to do nothing.
there’s no point in talking to the guys with militant attitudes. They think they are hero’s, and there’s nothing anyone can do to break that illusion to them. Hence why I don’t even bother to respond to these clowns anymore.

I don’t believe in concessions. If that is what you consider a militant attitude, then I guess that is me. I am going to make the same amount of money either way next month. I just don’t think concessions are the way to go.

It’s also not even really a 68 hour min guarantee. It’s a 70 hour no matter what happens, with 2 hours per month deferred (but will be paid) until Q1 of the next year. And if the company makes a profit it’s actually a 72 hour min guarantee. Hell those payments are even based on off you are still on the seniority list, not just employed. AKA even if you are furloughed on December 31st 2021 you will STILL get those reimbursements.

And all of that for a 100% furlough mitigation? For me at least that’s a damn easy decision to make. Good job to the guys at the union on this one.

When the email summary stated we’d keep our health car coverage, I about laughed out loud. What health care coverage? You mean the $800/month crap insurance that isn’t any better than any other catastrophic insurance policy?
What a joke.
Guys, you really need to think about this seriously. When unemployment pays more, wouldn’t a furlough be better? I mean if it’s only for 90 days. Right?
If we say yes to this, this will set the precedent for even more concessions.
The problem with accepting lower pay when it’s below unemployment, it’s not like you can quit to draw unemployment. You have to be furloughed.
So I say, please furlough us, so we can support our families.
There is no way I accept lower pay when every other regional is paid 20% higher then us.

The MOU is equillavant to about 210 furloughs give or take. And he said he needed 491 pilots furloughed? Then in 2022 we will be paid 6 extra hours at what pay scale? You know he is not going to make a profit, the company will finally get to that maintenance that was deferred.

Long calls get assigned open time first.

correct, however only if it fits within the callout times 12 and 18 hours depending on the time of day at notification. I’m on long call right now, it’s nice, especially for a commuter. Also if they put you on short call (2 hours) which they can do up to 6 times a month You are the first one in your bucket to be assigned. So far I’ve only been given short call when S hits the fan, aka. Storms.

Reasons to vote NO:

You are against any concessions as a matter of principal.
-I might remind you this is in line with what nearly every other airline has done, and better than most. It's temporary and you are not lowering the bar.
You are WELL ABOVE the line of downgrade which is approximately 486.
-The 25% just above that will be on reserve and will be used - and there will be only be 17% long call - 1-2 per base.
You think we should have got 2 days extra off instead of 1.
-I can see this one but I don't think it's a hill worth dying on.

Reasons to vote YES:

Keep your job.
Still better than unemployment
You could be downgraded (below 486 on the seniority list) if you don't and that's a bigger hit than the MOU
You are very SR and want to stay home and get paid to do nothing (bid reserve, long call call me last)
You are senior and want to pick up extra time before the holidays for extra money. You certainly won't grab anything above guarantee with guys on the street will you? Now it's OK - after furlough not so much.
