If we vote NO that’s what the company WANTS because it will save them more money by continuing to use our current contract rates for longer. I’m a string YES vote. Pangolin is said right when he said it will take a year or more to go back and renegotiate. It is probably that the rates wouldn’t increase at all or so little it would not be worth it. The pay is not bad for MESA and we all still fly the same aircrafts we flew yesterday for MORE money so it would be ridiculous to vote no on a good deal. MESA offered us a good contract that secures our future by letting the company not spend all monies on pay rates. They have to have room to operate and make cash too. The Wholly Owned are doomed. They can’t afford to pay like that for long or they will be out of business
AA is the wholly owned. They have deep pockets, you don’t.

Guys, these details of everyone else’s TA coming out BEFORE we vote was a huge win for us. Could you imagine approving ours and then watching everybody else get almost double. If we vote this crap in we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We know what our competitors will be getting. They already think we are scum. Are we?

maybe JO is expecting Captains to sit FO reserve. Lol. How many are going to continue on with their training dates if they can get hired at Envoy or similar and make triple pay? Only those that failed elsewhere or have no other options will continue. Good luck!

Thomas Jefferson said the government you elect is the government you deserve. I think that sentiment is applicable here as well. There no question this should be a HARD no by everyone, I don’t think it’s even up for debate at this point. But if it gets voted in then it’s definitely the contract mesa pilots deserve.
