Default Envoy prior 121 experience NO INTERVIEW!!!

Guys

This is a no brainer, I just heard that envoy will guarantee hire you if you have prior 121 experience with no interview at all
and starting pay is 90/hr. I’m just curious who I’m their right mind would want to ever fly for Mesa
or stay here, The pay is poverty and horribly LOW and envoy has much much better working rules
=inherit
  • NEW Industry Experience Credit — Pilots with previous Part-121 experience can count their years of service toward compensation rates, vacation days and retirement benefits at Envoy. Those hours are also eligible for Captain Pay as a First Officer.
  • NEW Captain Pay as a First Officer —Receive Captain’s hourly rate at 750 hours while you fly as a First Officer.
  • NEW Long Call Reserve — Get at least 12 hours notice before your trip assignment.
  • NEW Minimum of 12 days off per month
  • NEW 1:2 Duty & 1:4 Trip Rigs — Get paid for your downtime on trips with fewer flights.
  • NEW 100% “Deadhead” Pay
  • NEW 150% Holiday Pay — Six paid holidays plus Halloween and the “Big Football Game”.
  • NEW 250-Hour Sick Bank Payout — Turn those unused sick days into extra pay days when you transition to American Airlines.
  • NEW Preferential Bidding System — Build your monthly schedule based on your preferences. (Coming soon!)
  • Preferred Crew Bases — Envoy shares hubs with American in Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, and Miami, with paid hotels for travelling to and from training.
  • Generous Commuter Policy — We offer up to four paid commuter hotels per month.
  • Fleet Renewal — Envoy will have a growing fleet of Embraer 170 and 175s. We also operate the Embraer 145.
  • ATP-CTP Course Paid — For those candidates who need to complete the exam prior to training.
  • Global Entry — We offer a $100-reimbursement for Global Entry/TSA Precheck memberships to speed you through security.

=inheritAnd AQP training which Mesa doesn’t even have!!!!!!!!!

=inheritwell… this is it. VOTE NO!!!!!!! If Mesa doesn’t match what envoy is offering, let mesa drown, it’s due or die and Mesa management knows that. Don’t play their bluff, don’t respond or reply to any stupid emails, just vote NO!!! I guarantee Mesa will likely sink ship in a few months, if they don’t match what envoy is offering, no one in their right mind would want to fly or even stay with Mesa while everyone else and I guarantee you Skywest will match envoy,. Is getting paid better. Someone said it would take 5 years for a Mesa pilot to make what a first year envoy pilot would make.
vote NO!!!! Anyone who votes YES is absolutely crazy and needs to be admitted into a psychiatric ward!!!!!!

Good morning Mesa pilots.
quick question, where are most of your pilots going? Spirit, united, SWA, AA?

From what I’ve seen it’s a shotgun blast to everywhere but here. Everything from corporate to legacy. Haven’t seen lateral movement, yet.

I would go anywhere you could. Mesa is a huge black stain on your resume.

My friends went to Abex, Atlas, Spirit, and Frontier and then got immediately interviews at the legacy carriers like Delta/SWA/United/FedEx before even finishing indoc at the LCC/Cargo ops

This is just an ignorant post based on anecdotal evidence. There’s no “black stain” for working at mesa. Every carrier hires from mesa pilots. Those that get an interview and don’t get hired just didn’t interview well on that particular day.

ya, I don’t buy that. Not a black stain at all, I had no problems getting offers from everywhere (didn’t apply to cargo) but American (probably a blessing in disguise) with no TPIC. That being said, get out now before anything else happens would be my recommendation.

and that IS the best way to help your wallet, not voting yes on that ridiculous contract

Proudly carrying that list of pilots and I will never give them a jump seat ALPA or not
We don’t forget we don’t forgive

Are there any Freedom A list on our MEC or NC?

How many 121 time did you have?

Any other type ratings?

Wondering how a Mesa FO would go to American unless they have an extraordinary background.
