What you don't get is what is being said. The base rate (50 seat pay)is what we make on reserve or vacation, then you get paid the difference of what you fly. So if I sit reserve for 80 hours and fly the 900 for 40 of those hours, I get paid 80 hours at 50 seat rate, then the difference between 50 seat pay and 77+ (900 pay) for 40 hours.

Any info on upgrade time? Just curious how honest the recruiter has been to a buddy of mine? Thanks

I think upgrade times will be reasonable at most of the regionals over the next few years. Mesa included. The company has already hired quite a few, but they're only just getting started with E175 FOs. If you can get bumped up to a class that starts soon you may be in good shape, but I wouldn't expect anything too exceptional.

Don't want to sound rude ...but what are you talking about? There are "NO" E175 FO's at mesa.

Shouldn't you just get a blended rate based on what's actually flown typically for the base? How is vacation pay calculated? If you actually fly 20 hours but your min guarantee is 75 hours, what is your 75 hours based on?

There are no FO's currently training for E175 either. The first revenue flight doesn't happen till late June with only 1 aircraft. I see some FO's starting training in late spring / early summer at the soonest.

Ah. Nevermind. I thought the class starting in late January (already started?) was going to have some ERJ guys.

I spoke with one of the recruiters today and he said the first EMB FO class was pushed back to May.

What's the latest on SkyWest? Are they still hiring? Will they hire just for the jet or do you have to start in the Bro. Any Info can be helpful
