You need to review the SCOPE section at United and Delta, look it up and report. You will find different information that you posted.

So then help me understand why UAL has an option for 30 additional Ejets that are potentially earmarked for Mesa? 30+30=60 E175s at mesa for UAL.

Not to mention what the guy above states regarding scope? Air101 your "name" surely suffices.

You mean options? That's not earmarked. It's completely different than scope.

air101 is correct on UAL scope. In order to add more 76 seat RJs than are already on order UAL would have to place a small narrowbody aircraft (defined as E190 or CSeries) at mainline or get rid of some 70 seat RJs.

Those of you who think that 30 E175 options are "earmarked" for Mesa need to realize that these options could also be "earmarked" to be converted to E190 orders for united.

And it will continue to be the way this industry works, as long as there are pilots willing to race to the bottom.
And if you say it's not right, why do you do it let alone suggest others do it??

Question is does it matter if only a print out of my online logbook is up to date and not the paper copy? And, do they log anything in you personal logbook or are logbooks just provided to prove you meet the mins for the ATP?

Can anyone say what the gross or take-home pay:
1) during Training
2) Once off IOE. I understand this number is all over the place but what would be an "average" during first year FO.

Im starting there soon and want to sit down with the loving wife to figure out the ol budget.

Also, I'm sure there will be a lot of smart ass remarks... but whatever. Thanks in advance for the serious replies.

It's pretty much what APC lists on the Mesa page. $22.18 an hour, guaranteed 76 hours a month. That's $1,685 per month as a first year FO.

There's per diem (I think $1.44/hour), taxes taken out, direct withdrawal for certain items like luggage/uniform. A friend told me to expect around $21,000 the first year, $29,000/$30,000 second year.

During training, that monthly rate applies, except it's prorated for when you started during the month. So if you start on the 10th, expect to be paid 2/3 of that monthly wage the first month.

One other thing to keep in mind - the pay days are delayed. We started July 10, but the first paycheck wasn't until August 1. After that, it's every two weeks. So just know you might have to tighten your belt those first few weeks unless you have a little saved up.
