he's saying, don't commute out of uniform it's not worth the hassle. just stay in uniform so you can use KCM etc and when it comes time to sit with the cattle or lounge around a gate waiting for your commute, throw a fleece on and people will leave you alone.

This industry and the companies are always changing. What is true about a company today is not necessarily the same as it was even 6 months ago.

Do guys on the CRJ tend to fly all over the network, or are they just confined to their base? For example, do IAD based crews ever end up in LAX on a trip?

Normally an IAD based line holder will only fly the 700 and will have no need to do anything with any other base unless they pick up Opentime the other bases. Or as in most cases bid out altogether.
