Mesa

For those at Mesa, what it's like for the 175 guys? I'm thinking of jumping ship from GoJet (less than a year in seniority) to go over there. Wise or not?

Well, October lines had 13-18 days off with lots of 90+ hours lines. If you look a few pages back in this thread I listed them all out. Right now there are around 50 EJET FO's on property and classes full until the end of the year. Will probably end up with 150 pilots in each seat or thereabouts, so if you take a slot at the beginning of next year you should still make it around the 50% mark in base seniority.

It's hard to say right now 2 bases just closed and a bunch of people are moving around. I would say 2 months or less in DC who knows about the other bases. You're better off asking in a week when everyone gets their November schedule.

Here's another prime example from another thread Scotty:
I left RAH 3 1/2 years ago as a very senior 170 captain and have never looked back. I was living in base making $90k/yr. My career goals at that time were "Anywhere but here with anyone but you."
I am still a FO at my new job and am making about $20k less than I was at RAH. Not a day goes by that I do not appreciate my departure from that nest of vipers. Nest of vipers in any and all respects
I would sooner drink Liquid Plumr than I would go back to that miserable, hostile, toxic, dysfuncional environment.
New hires/applicants take heed.
