The LA flying has ALWAYS been temporary. We've known it's going to Compass 175s since at least last summer.

Why does everyone hate on the LAX flying? Best flying the 900 does! Longer legs = efficiency = days off. You can easily do a 20 hr 3 day in LAX vs a 17-20 hr 4 day out of PHX/DFW/CLT.

Yeah and CLT should be closed by now or very shortly. Lax was supposed to be done in June. Sliding goalposts dude. Things change. Guarantee you if JO could keep sliding this temporary lax flying later and later he would, esp if he had additional CRJs to put elsewhere for AA. Avoid paying to have a real base there but keep flying it and able to blame delays on the horrible envoy ground personnel.

I love the LA stuff. Long legs and if something cancels and you have a lengthy sit of more than 4 hours then they have to get you a day room since you are out of domicile.

Just checked out the pilot roster and the Captain who voluntarily downgraded is officially an FO as of the February bid. They granted it to her. Now let us see if they let her bid over to the Ejet.
