Mesa Airlines is starting to look more like a South Beach MIA nightclub that is coked out of its mind and trying to pretend like it is United Airlines mainline.

And for that reason I am all for the new design--it makes me laugh out loud everytime I login.

I recently had a two day trip that backed up to a four day trip, where I'd spend one night home after the end of the two-day, then begin the four day trip. Due to weather, cancellations, etc. I ended up stuck in an outstation for an extra night. The company changed my schedule to make it one big trip, under a single pairing number, in order to get me started on the four day ASAP upon returning to base. Is this legal?

When trying to pick up open time, I'm often denied for pairings that are too close together, but I guess the company doesn't have a problem with simply combining them when it suits their needs.

While not fun, it's legal. They don't go out of their way to change pairing codes for one person unless they need to; however doing that prevents your fdp from ending once the first trip ends.

You should be asking your union rep this, not some anonymous forum.

One thing that I just noticed. Our CLT closure standing bid had the last of the pilots leaving in June, but the "new" website, Mesa Air Group has CLT shutting down in May. Does that sound correct? Maybe I misunderstood when we were losing CLT.

I want to personally thank JO for the good laugh this morning... the website and new logo he created using Windows 3.1 sure looks sharp. Not to mention the new video... EDC! lol
