Yeah, expect an increase in flying once summer kicks in. The base is shrinking but only because of LAX. All our Phoenix flying will stay intact. Based on the company call last week and how it's been handled thus far, I wouldn't expect any FO displacements; seems they're letting attrition take care of it. Eventually, Captains may not be so lucky. But for current FO's, worse case scenario is probably reserve. It is unfortunate for a few guys barely too junior to bid in a few months back though.
I haven't heard much about what's going on with SkyWest. The 200 flying will probably stay if SkyWest wants it since nobody is actively bidding for it. JO said he'd try to recapture the 900 flying but admitted American most likely wants at least two separate regionals in each base as a strategic thing.

Got a few buddies that do it. 2:45 from downtown. A lot of decent crew rates for the hotels on JFK Boulevard. I say decent at 55.00 with taxes. CLT I paid 42 out the door. Plus a good hangout next door. Hoot County Saloon, The Greek Place and a good Asian massage parlor!! Haha. Just kidding, wouldn't know anything about the last one. (Roll eyes) Red Roof Inn, JFK Blvd., Best Western, JFK., Springhill Suites, JFK. The rate changes for capacity. If you set-up an early reservation they hold the price. Now I used these hotels back last summer. Things might have changed.

If you check the Interline travel agreements chart you should see that.
Most airlines should pop up for you after 6 months on property, b/c you're eligible for almost all of our interline agreements at that time.

I am a reserve FO base assisting right now. I've been with the company long enough to know what FDP and ready are I think, but I just want to see if this checks. First day was a deadhead with FDP at the end. I went to the hotel right when I landed. Second day was 10 hours of FDP during my normal reserve shift (1200-2200). I stayed in the hotel for that. It wasn't coded R10 or R08. The next day, I had FDP starting at 1200 until 1745, then a leg scheduled for 1830 departure. FDP coded as such again, not as ready. I don't need to be at the airport for that do I? Isn't that the regular reserve period with a 1.5 hr callout?
Hotel is kicking me out at 2pm, so I called crew tracking and the guy said FDP is ready reserve and I should have been at the airport yesterday from 1200-2200. I told him if thats the case then to change my status to ready reserve and have it reflect as such in my schedule. Didn't we put that issue to rest? Union issue, chief pilot issue, or me not understanding issue?

FDP is not ready reserve and if you are base assisting they can't have you sit ready reserve out of domicile. If you are TDY you can be put on ready reserve but not when you are base assisting. They need to extend your hotel stay if check out is 2pm and your show time is later.

There are pretty much all new Crew Trackers since I was last on reserve in 2013. These guy's have no idea what they are talking about. One of them tried to tell an FO that he needed to fill out an ASAP report for calling in Fatigued. Uh what?
The company needs to extend your hotel so that the checkout time correlates with your showtime. (45min prior to flight or deadhead)

I just signed up for known crew member via the lounge and verified employment On the kcm website.
Am I now in the system? And will I have any issues getting past security the first time with no bar code?
