I'm curious about the contract.
I can't seem to find anything.
Is it expired?
Is there a TA?
Thinking of the future here.
What am I accepting over the next 2-5 years?

Wow Bob. I let most of what you claim to know slide, but putting the worst paying regional in the top 3? YGTBSM. Worst paying by a landslide at that. You keep spouting the fact that you will build time fast as the only plus. NEWS FLASH, you will fly your ass off at the majority of the regionals these days. You will be compensated much better at any other place (some are paying almost 2X what Mesa is paying).
Most of us do this for a living. Mesa paying what it does is hurting all of our ability to negotiate.

Yes, terrible pay. Near the bottom of the industry, eh? Most are getting better, some aren't. Envoy pays $3 an hour more. XJet about $1 per hour more. AWAC $5 more. PSA $2 more. Not quite the landslide you claim, from my POV. I agree that pay increasing is good for all. But from what I read on here, reserves at some of these will be 1-2 years. Money is not the driving force behind everything, not the motivating factor for all. Some people want/need hours more than money.

You people are silly. We are filling classes for some odd reason. Basically that equals continued growth. Yea people will leave for other regionals/ mainline, but as long as a sweaty armpit is in the door this airline will continue. I hate the contract, but it's hard to justify leaving when I just upgraded. I'm living in base and happy wife = happy life.

You guys with the attitude that money doesn't matter are hurting those of us that have to support our families. I'm glad that this is just a fun hobby to you, but I have bills to pay. It's a sad state of affairs that we keep these sweat shops in business so that you can "get yours". There are plenty of regionals that offer plenty of flying/growth potential/quick upgrades and also compensate much better.

Also, Mesa can offer something Envoy cannot... Flight time in a reasonable time frame. If a person wants to sit on reserve for a couple of years, flying 200-500 hours a year, with the chance of flowing in a few years, then Envoy is the place to be. If said person instead wishes to quickly get to 1000 TSIC, then Mesa would be a better fit.
Fact - Summer 2015 Mesa new hires have less than 200 hours logged. And most won't see a line for at least a few more months.
