What's your definition of pretty. If your is crap maybe it's time to have your bid looked at.
Wish PBS Awards on Pilot Lounge worked, but yeah, Phx lines seem okay. Maybe not a lot of days off but at least there wasn't any unstacking like last month. As for DFW, haven't seen what the lines look like, but working 73 hours and getting paid for 76 doesn't sound so bad.

I bid for commutability, and as such, awarded accordingly, but I had to sacrifice for it. Oh well...

They work. Least the few I just clicked on did.

...

I spent 5 years in Longview, TX so we are familiar with the climate. I prefer winters in Texas and summers in WI.
Hey, as long as you're not a tu fan or a Tech fan, you're okay in my book! I grew up over in Tyler, and sympathize with you on the climate. I can't help you with 175 stuff, but PM me if you need GOM help or anything else. Welcome!

Don't help anyone with "GOM stuff" until they're on property--every page is SSI.

Didn't. Wouldn't.
Wow has anyone looked at the IAH CA reserve grid for March? Single digit reserves available every day--average of ~4.5 reserve Captains per day.

I mean, I'm sure we have upgrades in the pipeline that'll be trickling in as the month rolls along, but it's going to be a fun one. Bring on that 2-3x OT babyyy!!!

What are you guys in DFW/IAD seeing? IAH FOs?

The breaking point for any growth in this industry is when attrition from both seats equals the ability to find and train new bodies--you can't bring new planes online if your new hires are only covering CA/FO attrition...maybe this is just a fluke in IAH, or a temporary backlog in the pipeline (like I said, we definitely have upgrades in the pipeline, and it's traditionally a busy month). But these are the lowest numbers I've seen since maybe 2013, and that was before the hiring pipeline was really in full gear.

So it seems like the ship starting to list a bit...only time will tell if she'll continue to beam on over, or if they'll get her back upright...I think we'll know by the end of the summer peak

The IAD grid is all red and some days only have 1 or 2 reserves. Junior manning has already started. They may be "filling classes" but it is not keeping up with attrition. It's going to be an interesting summer.

Yeah we've had a good run at Mesa, and lots of people have incorrectly predicted the wheels falling off lots of times over the last year or two. Mesa has been pretty resilient (tenacious even) in keeping the train chugging along all this time, but it sure is looking like this spring/summer peak flying and hiring season is going to test the limits of what Mesa is actually capable of staffing/covering going forward.

Can't take new planes if your new hire classes are only covering attrition in the CA/FO ranks.
