ALPA lists 10 airlines with lowest starting pay for pilots | | Dallas Morning News
I understand completely what on par means, thanks. After year 1, however, there is a significantly large difference in compensation and benefits between Mesa and other regional airlines. I personally know an Endeavor FO who W2'd over 70k last year, and something similar has been mentioned in this thread about Endeavor FOs making more than Mesa Captains. I'm not saying this to be condescending or put you guys down. I'm sure it's a great group of people, your performance numbers show that you all do a good job, and I hope you guys get raises commensurate with what you're really worth but to say the pay was ever "on par" simply sounds like a poor and disingenuous attempt at validating your own personal choice.

In 2014, year 2 FO pay at most other regionals was not close to $29/ hr. In 2016, it's less than other regional airlines first year pay. Hopefully, that all changes for you guys soon.

Tentative Agreement. When a negotiating committee reaches an agreement with the company regarding the pilot contract, it is called a Tentative Agreement. It is subject to a vote by the Master Executive Council of the union and then, if approved by the MEC, sent to the pilots for a ratification vote.

Well I'm not talking about this year or last year I'm talking about 2014. And yes in 2014 most of Mesa's pay was pretty close to other regionals in term of second year pay, between $28-$35. So a few bucks extra less an hour for second year pay to be upgrading that year anyway it was a win win. Especially when you look at the two other regionals in DFW with reserve times back then to about 4 years and upgrade time to about 10. I have a buddy at Envoy who just hit the 10 year mark and is still a few months from upgrade, no thanks. You were the one that came in here saying "every comparison I have seen had Mesa at the bottom" when you were clearly wrong. However, is that the case now? Yes, yes it is. But try and understand we all weren't hired yesterday.

70k on a w2? Yep, he makes more than a 3rd year CA at Mesa...
With that said, just looking at the latest roster, I am quite surprised at how far up I moved in seniority. From where I sit, for this to happen, people with 8+ years of seniority are leaving. Some interesting names were noted, it appears that AH has moved on...

I keep picturing ScottyDo beating up Pullout in a crewroom. Then taking his lunch money. It's a pretty funny sight.

Unless I am losing my mind, one of lists I looked at listed him. Vacation awards? That shows a few senior guys crossed out. I don't really care if he stays or leaves, l'm much more concerned with our discrepancy.
