Alright it's a little more involved then that. The point was the company isn't going to close just because they vote down a contract. Same thing here. There is no burning it down.

Republic very well may, they had a net loss of 77 FOs last year - they were supposed to have a gain of 200.

People are bailing that place faster than the last 20 minutes aboard the Titanic.

Has there ever been any examples where a TA has been turned down and the company comes back with a vastly improved one? I'm talking just about the regionals, because majors and legacies are a different story obviously. I just don't want to hear any more Delta examples lol.

Delta has never turned down a contract until now and it's too early to tell, so you won't hear any delta examples.

Well, its kind-of growing on me.... but in general its not nearly as stable as the gecko mount we have been using. The Bob mount is pretty wobbly. Kinda annoying when you're taxing and its bumpy among other times. It is however its much smaller than the previous.

Unless the two groups agree to binding arbitration, the arbitrator can never just hand you a contract. If you choose mediation, they just act as referees. The only people who can just give you a contract is Congress.

Looking over the new Republic TA just makes ours look worse and worse. $40/hour year one pay for FOs, duty rigs, cancellation pay, all for an airline that has according to our union the same margins Mesa operates with. What is the excuse for our TA going to be now at the roadshows. I'll have my popcorn ready.

Exactly right, there are no excuses.

And Republic still can't attract qualified FO's. What do you think is going to happen here if this TA is voted in and the growth stops. I think a good place to start would be the AW contract, and go from there. If they don't want to play ball then start applying to companies that are willing to pay for your qualifications. There are plenty out there that are literally dying to get you on their roster.

I don't see why the union doesn't just pull this offer, it's dead on arrival.
