Could this be why places like Flexjet and Executive Airshare are expanding so quickly?

Shame on the owners for not speaking directly to the old man and voicing displeasure with the inept lawyer learning on the job. I would imagine if enough people went to omaha and raised hell, this guy would be sent packing. Gramps is seeing massive profits, so I suspect he is very happy with the way he's running this place into the ground

How does recalling a few pilots allow them to sell off more? I think recalls will ramp up considerably in the near future. They didn't start recalling due to sell offs, as they were under the required number to initiate contractual recalls.

The PWA allows for a certain number of sell-offs each quarter. However, when pilots are on furlough, the company is required to re-call a small percentage of furloughees when it exceeds the specified number of selloffs.

Lately, the company has sold off a lot of flights apparently triggering this 6-pilot recall.

While sell-offs are a necessary part of the fractional business plan, NetJets is starting to use them to keep the wheels from falling off the wagon. The company supposedly reports all sell-offs, but who really knows besides management?

The 6 pilot recall was not the result of sell-offs. They have not yet exceeded their limit of 11 selloffs per quarter.

From what ive heard you can pretty much live anywhere you want when you work at NetJets as long as there is an airport with airline service nearby....is this true? If so could you live in Hawaii? =)

As it stands now, the 100 domicile list applies to anyone not currently on the seniority list. Whether or not they open up the HBA system to newhires (if that ever happens) remains to be seen.
