Interviewed months ago in CMH, made it to Day 2 and was told the following week everything went great and they had good new!!! LOL Congrats!! You have made it into our pilot pool and we will be in touch in the next few weeks with details for the next step...weeks if not months go by and was now told you need to do a Skype interview after already being told your pretty much hired and in the pool...Scheduled Skype interview which lasted 10 mins and was called the next day and told "Thanks but no Thanks" Over 6 feet and fit tested out of the Phenom...Don't waste your time with this joke of a company and move on to something better...Feels like the weight was lifted off my shoulders after that call...Peace Out NJ ✌🏻
Sorry you had such an awful experience with HR but I wish you luck in finding a truly good job. I hope you are able to look back soon and realize they did you a HUGE favor.
It is a very troubling when all the feedback from friends, acquaintances, and message board posters indicates a hiring process that is inconsistent, misleading, unprofessional, and potentially discriminatory. It sounds as if they are rejecting anyone who would fit test out of the Phenom which means in 15 years a Netjets recurrent class will look like the Augustus Gloob scene from Willy Wonka.

Little person!
Midget is a perjorative term. Ergo, discriminatory.
Then again, so is excluding a person from consideration for employment because of their height (in this case, being TOO TALL). The EEOC says so. I would LOVE IT if somebody found a lawyer to pursue a class action on this issue.

While I dont disagree with you (huge entertainment value there), and assuming the Phenis is the ONLY jet they're placing new hires into, NJ could argue that being below a certain height is a BOQ (bonofied occupational qualification) of employment much the same way Exxon did in ultimately WINNING their age discrimination case against the EEOC. It is now a legal occupational qualification that you be under 65 to fly these jets (for Part 91 ops should an operator grow a pair and decide to pursue it)...just a matter of time before NJ figures that out and punts the gummers en masse to Sunny Acres where they can't hurt anyone.

What I would love even more is if somebody could find a way to punt the Shrub to the Loony Locker Home for the Clinically Insane.
