Can you explain that further? It seems invalid.
A long wait is fine with me... good work rules and good QOL (compared to my current situation) and living where I want are all positives.
Upgrade time is an unknown. The FO pay scales go out to 14 years and there is little doubt people will reach this cap. I highly doubt upgrades times will take more than 20 years though.

Agreed it is unknown. It could be 10-25 years without any substantial growth or regulatory changes. Is that a wide enough range?

NetJets has no retirement age. NetJets hired a lot of young guys early on. The airline model of all the pilots marching toward a defined retirement point does not apply, you cannot project up-grades, or seniority.

If you are very young when you're hired, and plan to fly until you're very old, you will probably attain some seniority. However, if you're middle aged + and plan to retire when you're 60, you will probably never up-grade here.

You could increase your chances of up-grading by encouraging the captains you fly with to take up high risk passtimes and eat a lot of fatty foods. Other than that, you just have to sit and wait.

Subtract 28 days of vacation (7*4) from the 228 days of scheduled work (76*3) and you get 200 days worked, or 16.67 per month. Take it a step further and throw in the 7 PTO days and the average drops to right at 16 days per month worked. That is with no SDP (supplemental duty like IOE or Check Airman) override and no extended days.
Don't forget to add the $9600 bonus (4%) for those LC pilots at year 18+

Untrue.

For those that don't know the contract, fly 7n7 and take what comes, it might be.

An LCA would have no problem knocking on 300s door.

I completed the phone interview a couple weeks ago, but I still haven't heard anything either way. Has anyone that has had the phone interview heard back yet?

Still waiting myself...but it's only been one week for me... Sounds like they're not moving too fast on it. I'll pipe in here when I hear something more. Please do the same and thanks for posting!
